Let Me Tell Ya!

Where Stories Come Alive

“The community that has been created is not just a place to share, and listen and support, but it is a place of inspiration. As individuals share, sparks ignite in a cold spirit, and a story that has been little more than an idea emerges.”

— Paul Armstrong, Founding Community Member

Our lives are filled with stories; stories connect our lives.

Every story matters. Every voice deserves to be heard.
Let Me Tell Ya! is a welcoming community of storytellers — from first-timers to seasoned performers — who gather online to learn, practice, and share stories. Whether you're overcoming stage fright, growing your repertoire, or simply love a good tale, you'll find encouragement here and an audience that truly listens.

Curated Shows
Storytelling is a performing art, and storytellers are artists who deserve to be compensated. Let Me Tell Ya! curated shows are ticketed performances featuring selected tellers from our community, with proceeds shared among the storytellers. Your ticket directly supports the artists who keep this tradition alive. Click for Events.

Our Vision
We envision a world where storytelling flourishes as a bridge between hearts and minds, where every person feels empowered to share their truth, and where communities everywhere are strengthened by the stories that connect us all.

“Such well-crafted tales.”

“I certainly enjoyed listening to the performance. I had to hold down the fort in the lobby but could hear each word very clearly down the stairwell. It was a true mark of the quality for your presenters to be able to audibly capture my/our audience’s attention with such well-crafted tales. Thank you for bringing your talented crew to our museum, and I look forward to future events with you as well!”

— Hunter Haskins, Assistant Museum Director, Salem Museum and Historical Society (2024)

“It is a place of inspiration.”

“When we first talked about starting an online group, I was interested in finding a place to practice telling stories with the hope of becoming proficient enough to perhaps do it publicly. This worked well for a time, until I ran out of stories that I was wanting to work on. Then I began to wonder if, when swap night came around, I had anything to offer. Sometimes I’ve thought, I have nothing so there’s no point in participating. Fighting off the urge to just skip the night I come to lend support to others. But there has been a pleasant surprise; the community that has been created is not just a place to share, and listen and support, but it is
a place of inspiration. As individuals share, sparks ignite in a cold spirit, and a story that has been little more than an idea emerges. I now understand why J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis would meet and discuss what they were working on, it sparked life within them.”
