Five Ways to Work Together
Storytelling Performances
Clinton brings personal, family, and folk storytelling to festivals, libraries, schools, and community events — the same warmth and craft behind Let Me Tell Ya! and the ORACLE Award he received from the National Storytelling Network in 2025. Programs can be shaped as a single feature-length set, a themed program for a specific audience or occasion, or a school and library program built around your curriculum.
For schools and libraries specifically: a library of ready-to-book programs for grades K–5 — including Aesop's Fables, Appalachian Jack Tales, world pourquoi tales, and Kipling's Just So Stories — each 20–25 minutes, requiring no technology, props, or staff preparation, and scaling from a single classroom to a full-school assembly. Programs can also be built around specific standards, including a Greek and Roman mythology program for grades 4–5 directly aligned to Virginia Standards of Learning. Lesson plans and standards vary by school — programs are adapted to fit what your classroom is already teaching, not the other way around.
Suited for: storytelling festivals, library programs, school assemblies and curriculum-connected programs, conferences, heritage or community events.
Let Me Tell Ya! Events
Some events call for more than one voice. Through Let Me Tell Ya!, Clinton works with a network of fellow storytellers to bring multi-teller shows, guild showcases, and themed story swaps to festivals, libraries, and community venues — matching the right teller or tellers to your event rather than offering one fixed program.
Emcee/Master of Ceremonies
Clinton brings the same warmth and quick presence to hosting a live event as he does to telling a story — introducing speakers or performers, keeping a program moving, and giving an audience a steady, engaging presence throughout. He returns as emcee for the Celebration of Tales storytelling festival for a second consecutive year.
Suited for: festivals, conferences, galas, community celebrations, and other multi-part programs that need a host rather than a single performer.
Living Story Workshops
Hands-on storytelling workshops for personal, family, and intergenerational storytelling — available in person or live over Zoom. Every workshop is tailored to fit the time available, the setting, and the audience — from a single focused session to the full four-part series. See The Living Story for the current workshop lineup.
